Jill comes from a journalistic background, previously a full-time reporter and photographer for the Prescott Valley Tribune and Arizona Big Bug News. She also published with The Prescott Courier, Arizona Republic, AP Wire, Chino Valley Review, Flagstaff Living, Flagstaff Mountain Living, SWEAT Magazine, Suite101.com, BellaOnline.com, Serving Arizona, Room Magazine, TravelWise.com and - honestly - countless other periodicals. She has a minor in Journalism from Prescott College.

- Jill authored/edited the 4th and 5th editions of Arizona Off the Beaten Path by Globe-Pequot.
- She also wrote for and managed hundreds of web writers at Suite101.com for a period of eight years (back when online writing was still young and untested) as a Unit Manager and, more recently, Section Editor.
- A previous stint as Art Editor for the weekly Flagstaff Live! was a natural segue to Jill’s current position: Editor in Chief for MUSED, the BellaOnline Literary and Art Review.
