About Jill Florio

Published by Jill Florio

Jill comes from a journalistic background, previously a full-time reporter and photographer for the Prescott Valley Tribune and Arizona Big Bug News. She also published with The Prescott Courier, Arizona Republic, AP Wire, Chino Valley Review, Flagstaff Living, Flagstaff Mountain Living, SWEAT Magazine, Suite101.com, BellaOnline.com, Serving Arizona, Room Magazine, TravelWise.com and - honestly - countless other periodicals. She has a minor in Journalism from Prescott College.

Well, that’s great! What else?

  • She also wrote for and managed hundreds of web writers at Suite101.com for a period of eight years (back when online writing was still young and untested) as a Unit Manager and, more recently, Section Editor.
  • A previous stint as Art Editor for the weekly Flagstaff Live! was a natural segue to Jill’s current position: Editor in Chief for MUSED, the BellaOnline Literary and Art Review.
  • Her local town website, Crestline Living, is all about life in the small, little-known villages of the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California.
  • In her spare time, Jill is also the Community Manager for BellaOnline.com.

What does Jill write about?

Yoga, Cosmetics, Gardening, Small Houses, Hiking, Backpacking, Ultra-light hiking, Running, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Painting, Traveling, Space, Weather, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Fitness, Fish & Aquariums, Dog Care & Training, House Cleaning, Low Carb, Dogs, Science, Nature, Art, Art History, Photography, Home Staging, Decorating, Buddhism, Meditation, Self-Help, Home Business, Personal Finance, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Fitness, Weight Loss, Meditation, Kayaking, Paddling, Rafting, Adventure, Houseboating, RVing, Wine, Painting, Travel, Panama, Baja California, the West Coast, the Southwest, Budgeting, Living Simply, Self-Help, Depression, Seasonal Affective Disorder, Natural History, Geology, the Grand Canyon, Social Networking, SEO, Writing, Publishing and Business Travel. Good afternoon,

My name is Mark Duggan and I’m with the publication the Seniors’ Advocate. We’re currently in the process of putting together our upcoming edition and are interested in reprinting an article of yours titled “A Recycled Christmas - Reused Gifts Are Better”.

We’d like to reprint the material along with any photos. We currently do not have an editorial budget therefore we cannot offer financial
compensation however we can supply you with a byline stating who you are, how to contact you, website, etc.

If you could get back to me as soon as possible with permission as well as the proper credit/byline to accompany the article that would
    be great.

    Thank you,

    Mark Duggan
    Editorial Coordinator
    The Seniors’ Advocate
